Services provided
Consultation (Free)
A brief consultation to discuss a student’s reading history, current challenges, and goals, and to determine whether reading intervention is a good fit. This conversation helps families understand next steps and whether structured literacy support is appropriate.
1:1 Weekly Intervention
Weekly individualized reading intervention sessions focused on targeted skill gaps. Instruction is tailored to each student’s needs, with progress monitoring to support long-term reading growth and independence. Session length can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes at varying prices. Sessions available one to three times per week and are offered in-person or virtually.
Parent Workshops
Guided workshops designed to help parents understand how reading skills develop and how to support literacy growth at home. Workshops provide practical strategies, tools, and resources families can use beyond intervention sessions. Workshop sessions may be offered in-person or virtually.
Homeschool Instruction or Enrichment
Customized literacy experiences for homeschool students ranging from direct instruction to enrichment-based learning. Depending on the student's goals, sessions may focus on reading, spelling, writing, and comprehension, or incorporate novel studies, literature projects, interactive activities or crafts, and educational games that foster a love of reading through meaningful engagement with literacy. Available in-person or virtually.
Assessment and Action Plan
A comprehensive assessment designed to identify a student's reading strengths, areas of need, and instructional priorities. Families receive a written summary of findings along with individualized recommendations and an instructional action plan to guide next steps.
Small Groups
Families may form their own small groups of 2-4 students for personalized literacy instruction or enrichment. Groups can be created with siblings, friends, classmates, homeschool peers, or other students with similar ages and goals. Sessions may focus on reading intervention, literacy instruction, or enrichment activities. Group rates offer a more cost-effective alternative to 1:1 services. Available in-person only.
Learn to Read
Designed for preschool, TK, kindergarten, and early elementary students who are beginning their reading journey. Sessions focus on building the foundational skills needed for successful reading. Instruction is engaging and developmentally appropriate, through direct instruction, games, movement, and hands-on activities. Ideal for families seeking early reading instruction, kindergarten readiness support, or a strong foundation for future literacy success. Available in-person only.
